Eigence designed, developed and put into production backend web services for an interactive online community application for designing personalized shoes and other products. This REST-based solution went into production ahead of schedule and under budget. Our focus on performance tuning allows the application to support millions of users around the world.

We were also asked to investigate and resolve specific architectural problems with the shared code base. Eigence reviewed the code and came up with a set of architectural changes that would improve maintainability, enable choice of underlying technologies, and facilitate implementation of new services and features. Venev implemented many of these changes.

Eigence also designed and developed backend web services for a new merchandising tool for Nike products. As part of a small team (5) of developers, we implemented agile processes to rapidly build the tool from scratch.
